Birthday off

17 09 2007

Sorry for not updating my blog for a long time. I am busy with my other committments for every book out. Anyway, I am booking out today even though today is Monday. For once, I will praise the SAF for having ‘the birthday off privilege’.  Well, it is a prilvege in which not everyone knows. I feel that I deserve it as my Sunday is burnt due to regimental guard duty. SIGH!!!  Oops, I seem to be hinting something.

In addition, I would like to thank friends who send me birthday greetings today. Thanks for knowing the date that I am born into this world 19 years ago.  Of course, I am in the state of felicity when I received the birthday greetings from her. Thanks, man! You have seriously brightened the day.

By the way, do you recall that I mention that I tend to meet friends that I have lost contact with at Dhoby Ghaut? Well, I met Pei Quan (my BMT buddy) at Plaza Singapura on Saturday. Sadly, we do not have time to settle down to talk. If not, I do not mind talking to him since I did not really talk to him during my recruits day.

02.09.2007- Written in camp

2 09 2007

This is the 4th out of 5 days of the Army Open House (AOH). It is OVER soon. By the way, I am tasked to be the sentry for one of the gates in Pasir Leba Camp. It is just like guard duty. Luckily, my effort is recognised in the sense that the MC in the tonner explains to the civilian how boring yet crucial my job is. In view of this, my weekend is burnt this week. Well, I will get my weekend as off days at a later date. I shall not talk so much. It is time for me to go to bed for my nights off as I am typing all these in camp.
